The Tournament Starts on 13/07/10 and the finals are on the 15/07/10 so it will be nail biting to see who takes the tournament this year as Wellington took it out last year. Introducing PSP Management Ltd....

PSP Management Ltd is a great value to sport athletes as they use a range of tools to help educate each athlete.  These tools include Employment assistance, Education assistance, Time management, Budgeting services, Player portfolio, Physical assessments, Training programs and many more great services to help them reach your goals as a great athlete.

As a sports management and marketing agency they have definitely pulled out all stops to better themselves and their athletes.

It has been awesome helping PSP Management Ltd with their assessment days and training programs, I also like to add that all the athletes that I have come across through PSP Management Ltd have been fully focused and ready to train never backing down to any task that I have set for them. Also utilising the great business knowledge of Tere and Avelien has also helped us with our management skills and business as this is very important.

PSP Management Ltd are working with us side by side in our quest for our athletes success along with Tere and Ave’s great approach to management and marketing, we have found a common undying belief for our athletes. So keep your eyes peeled and ready for the next up and coming events because you won’t want to miss out on PSP Management Ltd and TEAM Academy Ltd.

06 March 2010 TEAM Academy Open Day

TEAM Academy  on the weekend had its very first Open Day and it was a great day for a few Athletes to have a taste of what we have to offer, we also had PSP Management Players there aswell for their testings aswell. The session started with the athletes warming up with Vita Tu'ipulotu and then moving on to their first  test the 40m dash. The Athletes did awesome times for their first ever 40m dash and we were very impressed. Next we held the Pro Agility test, this test is slightly difficult due to body position and also multiple techniques, but there is one that surpasses all the rest for further infornmation on this technique see video section. The session ended with a Intro of all our Team and a Nutrition talk, like the saying goes you are what you eat. On that note as a trainer I wish to invite everyone to our training days on Monday or Wednesday 6:15pm at CLM Health & Fitness Mt Wellington. Keep a ear out for our next Open Day.

2009 Auckland Expo

TEAM Academy was lucky enough to be invited to the very first Pacific Expo on December 09 2009. The Pacific Expo was awesome it had a whole bunch of up and coming businesses which was really good for us. They also had alot of influential people like Hon Bill English, Peseta Sam Lotu-Iiga, Michael Jones, Inga Tuigamala and many more. They had a panel of Politicians which discussed  how the Super City will assist small and up coming businesses and many other issues that may arise like funding and where all the funding may go due to the new Super City set up. Does those areas that worked very hard to produce a huge amount of funding lose out due to new set up?.

We also got to listen to the Churches insight into the matter and how they play a massive part in small businesses and helping people get employment. It was very educational and awesome to see how the different churches handle their money and structure.Overall the experience was awesome and very educational, It is great to see that the Government and Churches are doing their best in trying to help us . So a few things I came away with from the Expo was expand your knowledge, make sure you vote for the right person and always ask for help
